Finding Your Center
This one hour workshop is an introduction to core stability and control. This includes a deep dive into the anatomy of the core, what it means to have good core control, how having good core control affects performance and how to improve core control. This workshop pays specific attention to proper core activation and breath work.

Decoding Your Flexibility
This two hour workshop identifies the different structures in the body that contribute to a dancer’s flexibility. We use simple assessment tools to help each dancer identify what their individual limiting factors are in achieving greater flexibility and discuss ways to simply and effectively address their needs. Each dancer will walk away with improved knowledge of their anatomy, their individual needs and tools to work independently toward achieving their goals without compromising safety.

Fundamentals of Dancer Conditioning
This two hour workshop reviews basic concepts in conditioning. We will discuss what constitutes conditioning, common areas of need and simple tools that can be used to work on basic conditioning easily at home. Exercises will also be included that address some common areas of deficits within the dancer population.

Safely Improving Splits
This two hour workshop breaks down the anatomy of the splits and educates dancers on the different sensations they may feel when working on their splits and what they mean. We review alternative and often more effective strategies to improving mobility based on the individual dancer’s needs. The aim is to provide tools to work quickly and effectively to improve mobility while protecting growing and developing bodies.

Thriving Through Competition Season
This one hour workshop focuses on strategies dancers can use to maintain good health and wellness during their busy competition season. Basic information on sleep hygiene, nutritional support, physical maintenance and stress management will be discussed with an open forum format allowing for discussion and questions.

Anatomy of a Jump
This two hour workshop takes a deep dive into what makes a good jumper. Content includes a review of applied anatomy, mechanics of jumping, factors that may make jumping easier or more difficult for certain individuals and exercises to help improve power and technique.

Injury Prevention for Youth Athletes
This workshop is appropriate for both parents and athletes (but more for the parents). In this workshop we discuss key aspects of injury prevention for youth athletes. Topics include training loads, cross training, growth implications, energy/fueling needs and other factors that can help your athlete stay injury free throughout their season.

Injury Management for Youth Athletes
This workshop is a great guide for parents who would like guidance in managing their youth athletes’ injuries and pain complaints. Topics covered include early warning signs of injury, deciding when your child needs to see a doctor for their pain, growing pains vs. other pain, and what to do when your child suffers a sports injury.

Intro to Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy
This workshop provides an introduction to the pelvic floor and how physical therapy can help with common pelvic health issues. Learn how pelvic floor physical therapy can help address common concerns such as incontinence, pelvic pain, and performance limitations due to pelvic floor conditions. We'll cover the anatomy, function, and importance of the pelvic floor to foster a better understanding of why this area is so important for optimal function. Ideal for women returning to activity post-partum, athletes, active individuals, and anyone interested in learning more about this topic.
